Customer Advisory Board

Overview

The Customer Advisory Board is drawn from Dialog customers around the world and includes senior-level managers responsible for oversight of information services. Representing a wide spectrum of industries and information users, they are selected based on their breadth of experience, knowledge of information needs and willingness to engage in the issues. This board serves a vital function in facilitating two-way feedback and consultation with Dialog management.

Interaction between Dialog executives and board members occurs throughout the year, and includes previews of new products throughout the development process and opportunities to participate in beta tests. Both current and emeritus members gather for informal discussion over dinner during the SLA meeting, and over lunch during the London Online meeting.

The highlight of the year is the annual meeting when, for two days, members come together with Dialog and ProQuest management to discuss industry trends, strategy and evolving customer environments.
