Nancy Muir, Jane Killian, Don Borman

Alexandria, Virginia, 25 June 2012 — A past recipient of two SLA Presidential Citations, Daniel Lee is once again being honored for his efforts to improve the association and the information profession.

Daniel has been named the 2012 recipient of the ProQuest Dialog Member Achievement Award for his many accomplishments, most recently his role in spearheading Operation Vitality. The project is credited with bringing SLA's 60-plus chapters, divisions, and caucuses under one online brand using the Wordpress platform.

"Daniel's work has not only helped SLA's chapters and divisions revitalize and enhance their Websites, but has provided a consistent image of SLA to the world," said Tim Wahlberg, Senior Vice President of ProQuest and Dialog GM. "He has greatly strengthened SLA's mission to help information professionals stay on the cutting edge of rapidly changing communication tools and platforms."
